Unoccupied Aircraft Systems (UAS) surveys of coastal habitat in Beaufort, North Carolina shed light on coastal shark movement in response to abiotic factors.
Belize: 2019
In coordination with Duke University Bass Connections and the World Wildlife Fund of Belize (WWF Belize), Duke University Researchers worked with local NGOs to monitor remote mangrove habitat using drones.
Dry tortugas national park: 2018
Students collected population data and participated in mark-recapture banding efforts with Dr. Stuart Pimm to contribute to a long-term study of sooty tern nesting habitat.
